Although the Bassbreaker is a naturally darker sounding amp, it has a “bright” switch which adds a lot of upper mids and some treble. The final setting is the highest gain mode, landing right in modern hard rock territory. Pick gently and roll off the volume on your guitar and you’ll get a lovely clean tone, but if you dig in and strum out some big power chords and you’ll be in full classic rock territory.
